Access gum disease treatment without leaving home
Unfortunately, gum disease - or periodontitis - is an invisible condition, which left untreated can cause irreversible damage. The best way to know if periodontitis or gingivitis is a concern for you is to book a dental check with our oral health therapist who is qualified to diagnose and treat gum disease.
We can help you identify whether you may need gum disease treatment. Although there are many obvious signs, our oral health therapist can help confirm treatment for periodontitis is necessary if you are experiencing any of the following:
Gums feeling sore or appearing swollen and red
Brushing and flossing causes bleeding
Bad breath and unpleasant taste
Plaque and/or tartar on teeth
Teeth loosening and gums receding.
Our mobile dental van is fully equipped with the advanced dental technology, such as AIRFLOW, just as you would expect in any dental clinic, allowing us to implement a treatment protocol for periodontitis that supports you to return to your best oral health.
Once we have an understanding of the extent of your condition, we will work closely with you to devise a treatment plan, ensure you understand each step, and most importantly walk alongside you to enjoy better oral health.
Treatment for gingivitis and periodontitis usually commences with a thorough and deep hygiene clean, providing an opportunity for the recovery process to commence, for bacteria to be treated, and inflamed gums to settle. We will also educate you on ways to maintain your best oral health at home, to help you keep your teeth and gums clean.
If you have any concerns about the health of your gums, reach out to our friendly team and book a time for a dental check and enjoy peace of mind again.
