A regular dental check - or hygiene clean - is ideally booked every six months, although for some individuals more frequent dental cleans may be needed, for example, if you are receiving treatment for gum disease.

Our mobile dental van is fully equipped with the advanced dental technology you’d expect in any dental clinic, allowing us to perform comprehensive dental cleans, including removal of plaque and tartar from your teeth, and providing fluoride treatment. Comprehensive cleans are undertaken with the industry leading AIRFLOW unit. AIRFLOW is less aggressive than other dental technologies and reduces the potential of damage being caused to teeth, regardless of whether they are natural or tooth replacements like implants and restorations. As such, AIRFLOW is gentler, more effective, and provides more predictable outcomes than other similar technologies. Anxious patients can feel reassured that discomfort and pain felt using regular teeth cleaning technology is no longer an issue with AIRFLOW.

  • The price of a regular hygiene clean from our mobile dental van does vary depending on need, however, some patients may be eligible for bulk billing or payments made under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Be sure to ask whether this applies when you book an appointment.

  • If you have private health cover, depending on the level of cover you have in place, fees for your dental check may be covered by your insurance. Most funds allow for two dental checks annually, however, we recommend speaking with your health fund for confirmation. Talk to us today about your options.

  • We completely understand that some patients feel nervous about if they haven’t had a professional teeth clean for some time. Our goal is to reassure every patient that they will receive genuine care and understanding when they receive treatments like hygiene cleans in our mobile dental van.
